I’m running a bit behind today, many, many mundane matters on my plate, nevertheless, I am receiving the impression of an older black woman, she sits in a lonely apartment, pining over the many losses she’s had in the last years of her life. I see her eating some soup from an ancient and chipped ceramic bowl, and then retiring to bed….the image shifts to a cat, the last friend she had in life. The woman passes quickly in her sleep, and is found by a neighbor boy the next morning. Her Spirit seems to cling to the place, and she seems to be waiting for a relative, perhaps a grandson or granddaughter to visit. The current occupants hear her feet shuffling through the kitchen and can hear the cry of the cat at times. I get the name Mabel.

The Spirit world seems to be extremely active again this morning…I’m receiving the impression of a young child…a toddler or even younger who passed rather unexpectedly due to a bronchial ailment….My instinct is that this was during the Spanish Flu epidemic in 1918 or so…I hear the babies cries and i see the distraught mother…the image fades and is replaced by a younger man…the babies father, he also passes from the disease…now I see both father and son, departed but together. I feel that their Spirits are bound to the house that they lived in and that the current owners can hear the babies cry occasionally. I get the names Ephraim and Leeds.

A bright and sunny day finally with a bit of warmer weather to boot!

Today I’m receiving the impression of a woman who is thin and tall, with long straight light hair…she is bend over in tears, sobbing softly…I see her in the kitchen of a Victorian style home, from her perspective the home is as it was when she was living, and she is standing beside the cook stove. In life she was both neglected and punished by her husband, who was a controlling and manipulative man. My feeling is that his temper got in the way of his good sense one day and he struck her blindly, which caused a problem with her vascular system. She passed a few weeks later. He had no regrets. The people who currently live in her house, fell her presence as a foreboding and heavy negativity in the kitchen area, and she can often be heard crying. I get the name Elois…and the name Nathan.

Strange dreams and strange impressions lead me to believe that something big is about to happen on the world stage. I can’t get a handle on the dreams but suffice it to say they are filled with images and communications from the strangest of Spirits. As I said the other day the Spiritual world is very active on our plane. Watch for certain signs and symbols over the next weeks…

I’m receiving the impression of a young man, in his early 20’s…tall and thin, black with natural styled hair…the victim, of a shooting, but in no way was it his fault…He was returning from a small grocery with a few items for his grandmother with whom he lived. He was caught unexpectedly in the crossfire of some type of gang related activity…after his death it was said that he was part of that activity…His Spirit wants to say that that was not so….

Snowing here again, but soon to stop and change to rain…I’m longing for spring and summer. Brutally cold the last 2 days, but a warm up is on the way!

I’m receiving the image of an older man, with a sallow expression sitting at the bar of a local taproom…he has the facial feature of a man who is dealing with alcoholism…I see a rough and craggy countenance, and a feeling of loneliness and despair. I know that he has family at home, and they worry about him, but he pays no mind. He passed walking home from this bar late one night, and he still frequents the place…his Spirit seems compelled to sit at the bar and relive his misery. He doesn’t seem to want to change or move on, no matter how much convincing he gets…sad.

I spent last evening at a benefit for the Animal Outreach of Cape May…It was a wonderful event that raised a great deal of money for one of our local animal shelters. I’m happy to have attended, and glad so many others did as well.

Today is Valentines day, a day that frankly means very little to me, but I realize that it’s very important to a lot of people. Just remember that if you’re alone on this day, whether by choice or not, that you can find love in your life, by just looking around you…it is seen in the many small things that people do or say to you…no one is truly alone!

Spirits are in a state of chaos the last two days, and I’m getting a great deal of activity, nothing specific, but tension is rising, so I’m feeling that something big is about to happen on the global scale,,,we shall see.

I didn’t have much success yesterday in reaching the Spirit of Elizabeth Garlick…I couldn’t seem to get a clear channel, but other Spirits came through including the Spirit of Colonel Jacob Spicer who once owned Neck Farm which is in the vicinity of where the Lobster House now stands at the entrance to Cape May. I had always had an affinity for the Spicer’s as I had many experiences with their Spirits when I worked at Historic Cold Spring Village. He often appeared as a disgruntled old man on the second floor of the Spicer Leaming house (Built by his grandson Spicer Leaming). My impression was and is that the house itself contains timbers from the original Spicer Plantation house, and that is perhaps why the earlier Spirits manifest in that house. Spicer himself had very little to say yesterday, but his presence came through strongly…I will continue to try to reach Elizabeth Garlick and will post my results here in time.

Es Gibt Schnee heit! Well a little bit anyway, and much colder weather is in store for the weekend. Oh well, spring will come sooner or later.

Today I will be trying to connect with the Spirit of Elizabeth Hardie Garlick Parsons….An early founder of the Rio Grande, NJ Area.. She was accused in East Hampton Long Island of witchcraft, for bewitching the daughter of Lionel Gardinier. Her trial was in Connecticut and she was acquitted of the charges, but only because the magistrate were afraid of angering the Devil by prosecuting her. She fled Long Island and came to Cape May. Her daughter Lydia married Aaron Leaming and through him the connection to Historic Cold Spring Village was established. (Her great nephew Spicer Leaming was the builder of the Spicer Leaming house, which is one of the buildings at the village.)  I’ll let you know the results of my contact.

Harrliche Fastnacht Daag!

Heit Marriye hemmer  ken Schnee do awer Ich hab alle die fastnachts gemacht!

Today is Fastnacht day! Every year I make fastnachts which are a raised doughnut that were traditionally made by the Deitsch people on Shrove tuesday. I’ve heard that it was to use up what was left of the fat and flour before the lenten season started. I don’t know the complete history, but I do know that my grandmom made them every year. So I carry on the tradition!

I suppose that’s my mundane thing for the day except I will be available later today and this evening for phone readings. I’ll have a Spirit message tomorrow…

En bissel meh Schnee heit fer uns! Yes they’re predicting a bit more snow for us here in Cape May, not a major snow, but nonetheless nothing to which  I’m looking forward. I’m longing for summer now and the gardens, but that often happens in February.

I’m getting the impression of an older woman, thin and greying, alone in her home, her husband has long passed and she is sitting down in her living room about to eat a sparse dinner while watching TV. She is not feeling the best today, she seems lonely and weary of the world. The image shifts to the same woman now ready for bed and very sleepy…she passes quietly in her sleep. I get the name Dorothy…she has a son still who hadn’t visited in quite a while. She was found later by a neighbor who kept an eye out for her. My feeling is that she lingers around her home, waiting for the son.
